Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, assisting with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges in collaboration with healthcare providers and administrative staff.
  • Ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care by coordinating referrals to specialists and ancillary services.
  • Provide support and assistance to patients in navigating the healthcare system and accessing resources.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient care coordination or customer service role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
