Physical Therapists evaluate your movement patterns; identify the cause of your pain, and work to eliminate it. While every patient’s pain is unique, the physical therapist may use various techniques to decrease your pain. As your pain decreases, the therapist will progress to stretching and strengthening exercises specific to your needs. The overall goal is to restore your mobility and function with improved joint protection to prevent the injury from reoccurring.
